Are you booking your stay at Mölke now? Then you will automatically benefit from our VAT guarantee. This means you can book with confidence, even if the VAT rules change in the meantime.

What exactly does that mean?

The government has increased VAT on holiday accommodations from 9% to 21%. However, there is still a very small chance that this will be reversed. If this is reversed, we will refund the difference to our guests.

At Mölke, we believe that honesty should come first. That's why:
👉 If VAT goes down before your arrival, you will be refunded the difference.

This way, you can be sure that you will never pay too much, and you can plan your slow vacation without any worries.

📋 VAT guarantee terms and conditions

To make it absolutely clear:

1. The VAT guarantee automatically applies to all direct bookings via molke.nl.
2. The guarantee only applies to accommodations (vacation homes, glamping, camping with VAT rate).
3. If the VAT rate drops from 21% to 9% before the arrival date of your stay, you will be refunded the difference.
4. The refund will be made automatically, within a few weeks after the VAT change officially takes effect.
5. The warranty does not apply in the event of a VAT increase (the price will remain the same).
6. The arrangement only applies to bookings made directly through Mölke – not through external platforms such as Booking.com or Airbnb.
7. The VAT adjustment is calculated on the rent, excluding any extras or tourist tax, for which other VAT rates already apply.
