Have you seen our animal scavenger hunt yet? Scattered around the park are animal houses and it's up to you to connect the right animals to their house. Next to the rental desk is a sign where you can pick up your scavenger hunt map. Can you find them all?

Did you know that gnomes live around here? At least we think so, because you see gnome tracks everywhere. Little footprints in the sand, wheel tracks from a wheelbarrow, crushed grass from an afternoon nap. And you'll also see the occasional gnome dropping. Really! Gnomes are busy all day long. During this route, you will discover beautiful nature, vast heathlands, and charming villages while being treated to culinary surprises. The Culinary Tour of the Sallandse Heuvelrug can be cycled every Wednesday through Saturday. The cycling package can be booked at Tourist Info Nijverdal up to one day in advance. A free route map from Holten can be picked up at Tourist Info Kulturhus Holten. This route leads cyclists along an attractive path to the starting point in Nijverdal.
